Pop Up at Findhorn Village Fair

With riparian woodland and river restoration activities now well underway in the upper catchment of the River Findhorn, the Findhorn Watershed Initiative has been making its way downstream to explore the intertidal estuary where the river enters the Moray Firth at Findhorn Bay.

On Sunday 21st July, we’ll be popping up at the Findhorn Village Fair, in the first of a series of opportunities to learn more about local peoples’ relationships with the Bay and its ecosystems.

With support from Gabby Morris of Feeldwork Futures, we’ll be gathering local Bay wisdom, and sharing inspiration about its lesser-known intertidal Seagrass Meadows, Saltmarshes and other wildlife - exploring how these habitats can help support climate resilience, and how together we might best protect, restore and steward them into the future.
